Leones Negros 1-2 Dorados de Sinaloa
An early goal and a late one gave Dorados de Sinaloa a 1-2 away win against Leones Negros. Both teams went into this game looking for their first win of the competition, and although Leones Negros started off brighter, Dorados would open the scoring from the penalty spot in just the 7th minute. After Edson Santos fouled Marcos Caicedo, Raúl Enríquez converted the spot kick to make it 0-1 for the visitors.
Leones tied it up in the second half with a 65th-minute goal from Christian López, whose scissor kick made it 1-1. However, Dorados would reclaim the lead ten minutes after that when Diego Mejía scored.
With the 1-2 win, Dorados reach three points while Leones Neros remain on one.
Murciélagos 1-2 Atlas
Atlas surprised their hosts with an early goal as they went on to defeat Murciélagos 1-2. Gonzalo Bergessio opened the scoring in just the second minute, giving the Rojinegros a very early lead. However, Murciélagos tightened up defensively after that, weathering the rest of the early storm and then going on to find the equalizer through Nicolás Vignieri in the 21st minute.
In the second half, Murciélagos created a good chance to take the lead through Alejandro Tapia, only for the opportunity to end in a quick counterattack, with Atlas scoring their second of the night – Bergessio again – in the 50th minute. Murciélagos once again pushed forward in search of an equalizer, but it was not to be.
With the 1-2 win, Atlas reaches eight points while Murciélagos remain on seven.
