Copa MX Disciplinary Report: C16 Llave 2 Second Legs

disciplinary reportThe Disciplinary Committee has suspended five players and two coaches in the aftermath of the fourth round of games in the Clausura 2016 Copa MX.

Leones Negros is by far the most affected by the suspensions; coach Daniel Guzmán was given a one-game suspension for constantly protesting the referee crew’s decisions, while Daniel Guzmán Jr. was suspended for two games for insulting the match officials. In addition, the Universidad de Guadalajara’s Alberto García was suspended for serious foul play.

Uriel Álvarez of San Luis was also suspended for serious foul play, but he will be sidelined for two games.

For receiving two yellow cards in a single game, Guillermo Allison of Cruz Azul and Leandro Leguizamon of Murciélagos were given one-game suspensions.

Finally, Carlos Reinoso, coach of Veracruz, was given a one-game suspension for constantly protesting the referee crew’s decisions.
