Mexico’s win over New Zealand on Saturday gave them a three-game unbeaten streak with two wins in their last three.
However, the match itself wasn’t particularly inspiring and El Tri will look for a better showing against a CONCACAF opponent in this one.
As for Panama, this will be the Canaleros’ first game since a World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica in September. Panama is 1-1-1 in their last three and has just one win in their last five.
Mexico has historically had the better of Panama, with 17 wins, nine draws, and five losses all-time.
All times Eastern.
