Disciplinary Report: Apertura 2016 Week 15

disciplinary reportThe Disciplinary Committee has suspended two players, fined a club, and issued a warning of a stadium ban in the aftermath of this weekend’s Jornada 15 games.

Jesús Paganoni of Veracruz and Óscar Rojas of Toluca were both given a one-game suspension for receiving two yellow cards in the same match.

Additionally, Monarcas Morelia was fined and given an “Aviso de Veto” for the Estadio Morelos after a fan entered the field and attempted to assault a Necaxa player during their match on Saturday.

Although the incident will not force Morelia to close the stadium for a game, they are under an official warning and any other incident will result in an automatic stadium ban, which would force them either to play at another stadium or to play in the Estado Morelos behind closed doors, with no fans admitted.
