The start of the Hex is just over a week away, and Mexico has released their roster for matches against the U.S. and Panama.
Juan Carlos Osorio has called up 15 europeos and just 10 domestic-based players for Mexico’s first two Hexagonal matches. Tigres UANL is the most-represented Liga MX club, with three players; Porto has also supplied three players. In total, 19 clubs in seven countries have supplied at least one player.
Among the standout names on the roster is that of Carlos Vela, who will make his return to the national team after sitting out the Copa América and the previous round of World Cup qualifying matches.
Mexico will face the U.S. on November 11th and Panama on November 15th.
