Santos welcomed Argentinian striker Julio César Furch from the Tiburones Rojos, while Martín Bravo and Freddy Hinestroza are moving in the other direction.
Furch, 27, joined Liga MX in 2015 and quickly made an impact with nine goals in his first season. He’s been a consistent goalscorer since, with 27 goals in 65 games for Veracruz.

Hinestroza, 26, arrived in Mexico from his native Colombia for the Apertura, and he played 14 games (8 starts) with Santos although the striker didn’t find the back of the net.
Bravo, 30, also had trouble in front of goal this season with just one goal in 16 games (4 starts). However, the veteran forward has ample experience and his resume includes more than 50 goals in Mexico.
