Monterrey has announced the arrivals of Marco Bueno and Luis Fernando Fuentes ahead of the Clausura 2017 season.

Bueno, 22, joins Monterrey from Pachuca via Chivas de Guadalajara, where he was on loan. After spending 2011 with the Tuzos, the striker has been loaned out to a series of Liga MX and Ascenso MX teams, including Estudiantes Tecos, León, and Toluca. The Rayados are his latest stop and Bueno said he hopes for continuity with Monterrey.

Fuentes, 30, joins Monterrey from Pumas UNAM, where he had spent his entire professional career to date. With Pumas, the defender made 240 league appearances and scored six goals. He also won two league titles with the club, the Clausura 2009 and the Clausura 2011.
