Necaxa has announced the signing of Nicolás Maturana ahead of the Clausura 2017 season.
@ClubNecaxa reports that it has reached an agreement with Nicolás Maturana to form part of the Rayos starting on January 1 #FuerzaRayos
The 23-year-old Chilean midfielder joins the Rayos from Universidad de Chile via Palestino, where he was on loan. Maturana has suited up for six different teams, primarily on loan, since beginning his professional career in 2011. Necaxa will be his first Mexican club.
Maturana represented his country at the 2013 U-20 World Cup and he was on the bench for the senior national team for September’s World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, although he has yet to make his full debut for La Roja.
