Atlas has announced the signing of Matías Alustiza ahead of the Clausura 2017 season.

The 32-year-old Argentinian forward has plied his trade in Mexico since 2012, when he joined Puebla. Alustiza also had a brief stint with Pachuca in 2014 before returning to Puebla.
Before arriving in Mexico, Alustiza suited up for Santamarina, Chacarita Juniors, and Arsenal de Sanadí in Argentina, Albacete Balompié and Xerez in Spain, and Deportivo Quito in Ecuador.
“El Chavo” won the Clausura 2015 Copa MX and the 2015 Supercopa MX with Puebla, as well as the 2011 Ecuadorian Serie A title with Deportivo Quito.
He has now joined Atlas on a two-year deal.
