2016 Club World Cup Final and Third-Place Match – Where to Watch

club world cup logo 2015The 2016 FIFA Club World Cup tournament wraps up this Sunday with the final and third-place match.

The third-place match will be between Mexico’s Club América and Colombia’s Atlético Nacional, while Real Madrid will face the host nation’s representative, Kashima Antlers, in the final.

This is Atlético’s first participation in the Club World Cup and América’s third. The Águilas’ best previous result was fourth in the 2006 edition, and they will look to improve on that with a victory against the Colombians.

The final is very much a David and Goliath match-up, with first-time participants Kashima Antlers against Spanish giant Real Madrid, who won the tournament in 2014. Kashima has caused waves in the Club World Cup as the Japanese team has made it all the way from the play-in round to the final.

This will be Kashima’s fourth game of the tournament but just Madrid’s second, as the UEFA champions entered the bracket in the semifinal round.

All times Eastern.
