Disciplinary Report: Apertura 2016 Gran Final

disciplinary reportThe Disciplinary Committee has suspended four players and upheld a red-card appeal in the aftermath of Sunday’s Gran Final second leg.

Firstly, América’s petition of non-conformity regarding the red card given to Paolo Goltz was confirmed and as a result he will be cleared to play in the upcoming Clausura 2017.

On the other hand, José Arturo Rivas of Tigres UANL and Ventura Alvarado of América were both given two-game suspensions for violent conduct. Alvarado will serve his suspension with his new team, Santos Laguna.

Finally, Jorge Torres Nilo of Tigres and Rubens Sambueza of América will both miss the opening match of the Clausura 2017 after receiving two yellow cards in the game game.
