Nahuel Guzmán Out for Six Weeks

red crossTigres UANL goalkeeper Nahuel Guzmán suffered an injury in training and is now set to miss six weeks of the Clausura 2017 season.

The first game the Argentinian will be sidelined for is Jornada 3’s rematch of the Apertura 2016 final against América.

Guzmán injured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and underwent surgery on Friday to treat the fracture.

Tigres confirmed the injury and the six-week layoff via their Twitter account.

@PatonGuzman underwent successful surgery on the fifth metatarsal of his left foot. The recovery prognosis is six weeks.
