disciplinary reportThe Disciplinary Committee has suspended two players, one coach, and one assistant coach in the aftermath of this weekend’s Jornada 5 games.

The standout suspension goes to Santos Laguna coach José Manuel de la Torre, who was given a two-game suspension: one game for constantly protesting the referee crew’s decisions and another for a lack of respect for the officials.

Santos Laguna will also be without Diego de Buen for their next game, as the player was suspended for serious foul play.

Enrique Triverio of Toluca will also miss a game for serious foul play after the Diablos Rojos’ petition of nonconformity was overturned.

Finally, Jaguares de Chiapas assistant coach René Isidoro García was given a one-game suspension for constantly protesting the referee crew’s decisions.
