Pachuca vs Monarcas Morelia – Jornada 10 Recap and Highlights

Neither side could find the breakthrough as Pachuca and Monarcas Morelia played out a 0-0 draw. The result keeps the Tuzos winless – and goalless – in four, although they remain unbeaten at home this season. Morelia remains winless in three but unbeaten in six with the draw.

The visitors had the first few chances of the game, with Raúl Ruidíaz in particular looking dangerous, but around the 20th minute Pachuca began to take control of the game.

The Tuzos hit the woodwork twice in the span of a minute, through Raúl López and Franco Jara; then, in the 38th minute, Erick Aguirre saw his shot well-saved by Carlos Felipe Rodríguez.

Morelia’s goalkeeper was a major factor in the game and in the second half he continued to stymie Pachuca’s misfiring attack, which has now gone more than 360 minutes without a goal in league play.

Both sides also saw penalty shouts turned down, with clear-looking fouls in the box going uncalled by referee Fernando Hernández.

In the end, the visitors were able to use Pachuca’s frustration against them as they managed the game and earned a very valuable point in their relegation battle.

With the 0-0 draw, Pachuca reaches 19 points while Morelia reaches 18.
