The 2016-17 CONCACAF Champions League is just two games away from its conclusion, and for the 12th straight year, the tournament winner will be a Mexican team; the last non-Mexican team to lift the trophy was Costa Rica’s Saprissa in 2005.
This year’s CCL final pits Tigres UANL against Pachuca.
The Tuzos have reached the final four times, and they have won each time, in 2002, 2007, 2008, and 2009-10. Tigres UANL has never won; they reached the final last year, in the 2015-16 edition, but fell 4-1 to América.
The universitarios will look to change their luck as they host the first leg on Tuesday night.
This is a total goals, aggregate-score series; away goals are tiebreakers.
All times Eastern, home team listed first.
