The first leg, which Tigres hosted, finished 1-1, which leaves the second leg as a winner-takes-all affair. If they tie again, a 0-0 draw would give Pachuca the title, a 1-1 draw would send it to extra time, and a draw with two goals or more would crown Tigres.
