Disciplinary Report: Clausura 2017 Week 16

The Disciplinary Committee has suspended two players and an assistant coach and opened an investigation in the aftermath of this weekend’s Jornada 16 games.

The two suspended players both belong to Monterrey, with Iván Piris receiving a one-game suspension for receiving two yellow cards in the same game while Jesús Molina was suspended for yellow-card accumulation after picking up his fifth caution of the season.

José David Rangel Torres, assistant coach of Toluca, will miss his team’s next game for constantly protesting the referee crew’s decisions.

Finally, an investigation has been opened into incidents in the Jaguares de Chiapas vs Santos Laguna game, namely, fans running onto the field during the game and then fighting with police and security personnel in and around the stands.
