Puebla Announces Rafael García as Coach

Puebla has announced José Rafael García Torres as the new coach of the club for the Apertura 2017 season.

García, 42, has never before held a head coaching position, although he has amassed some 131 games of Liga MX experience as an assistant coach. García was the assistant to coaches such as Tomás Boy, Ricardo LaVolpe, Rubén Omar Romano, and has experience with clubs such as América, Jaguares, and Veracruz. He also served as the U-20 coach for Atlas for a year.

García received a coaching certificate from the Argentinian Football Association (AFA).
