Hirving Lozano has temporarily left the Mexican national team at the Confederations Cup to complete his move from Pachuca to PSV Eindhoven.
Pachuca bid farewell to their young star on Twitter, with a message reading, “We knew that your limit would be the sky and that reaching it would depend only on your effort. Your work is taking you far. Break it, keep going, achieve your dream.”
The 21-year-old has been grabbing headlines since scoring just minutes after his debut with Pachuca’s first team in 2014. With “Chucky”, the Tuzos won the Liga MX Clausura 2016 title as well as the 2016-17 CONCACAF Champions League.
Lozano scored a total of 31 goals in his 120 games with Pachuca, and additionally registered 16 assists.
He has also been impressive for the Mexican national team, where he has two goals and an assist in 16 matches with El Tri.
Lozano has reportedly agreed to a six-year deal with PSV.
