Pachuca Signs Keisuke Honda

Pachuca has announced the signing of Keisuke Honda ahead of the Apertura 2017 season.

The Japanese international joins the Tuzos after leaving AC Milan as a free agent.

The 31-year-old started his career with Nagoya Grampus in his native Japan before playing for VVV-Venlo in the Netherlands, CSKA Moscow, and then AC Milan. He won the 2008-9 Eerste Divisie with Venlo; the 2012-13 Russian Premier League, 2010-11 and 2012-13 Russian Cups and the 2013 Russian Super Cup with Moscow; and the 2016 Supercoppa Italiana with Milan.

Honda has 90 caps for the Japanese national team, and he won the 2011 Asian Cup with his country.

Pachuca will be his first Mexican club.
