Gold Cup: Mexico vs Honduras – Where to Watch

The 2017 Gold Cup knockout rounds begin this week with the quarterfinals. On Thursday, Mexico will take on Honduras in Glendale, Arizona.

Mexico won Group C with victories over El Salvador and Curaçao and a draw against Jamaica, while Honduras finished third in Group A with a forfeit win against French Guiana, a draw against Canada, and a loss to Costa Rica.

Honduras failed to score a single goal in the group stage, with their 0-0 draw against French Guiana replaced with a 3-0 forfeit victory after the Guianans fielded an ineligible player. On the other hand, their defense allowed just one goal in their three games.

As for El Tri, Mexico looked less-than-impressive for much of the group stage, but they were able to get the goals and points they needed to win the group.

All times Eastern.
