The Disciplinary Committee has released the list of pending sanctions for the Apertura 2017 season, and six players, one assistant coach, and two physical trainers are set to be sidelined for at least the first game of the new season.
Monterrey will be without Neri Cardozo and trainer Carlos Kenny for Jornada 1, and without assistant coach Gustavo Lema for Jornadas 1 and 2.
América and Necaxa also have multiple pending sanctions; the Águilas will be without Pablo Aguilar and Guido Rodríguez for Jornada 1, while the Rayos will miss Manuel Iturra and Miguel Ángel Ponce.
Cruz Azul’s Francisco Silva will also miss Jornada 1, as will Pachuca’s trainer Mauricio Machetti.
Finally, Tigres UANL’s Jesús Dueñas will be eligible to play in Jornada 1 after serving his pending suspension in the Campeón de Campeones game this past weekend.
