Disciplinary Report: Apertura 2017 Week 4

The Disciplinary Committee has suspended two players and a coach and opened an investigation into another coach in the aftermath of this weekend’s Jornada 4 games.

The standout suspension goes to Chivas de Guadalajara coach Matías Almeyda, who will miss the next two games. He was given a one-game suspension for constantly protesting the referee crew’s decisions and another for not leaving the field and/or tunnel area after being ejected.

Cruz Azul coach Paco Jemez is being investigated for his actions in La Máquina’s game, in which he directed an obsence gesture towards the crowd.
In terms of players, América’s Bruno Valdez was given a one-game suspension for denial of a clear goal-scoring opportunity, while Querétaro’s Pedro Aquino was suspended for receiving two yellow cards in the same game
