As for Tijuana (7th), the Xolos beat Necaxa 1-0 last weekend to likewise keep them unbeaten in the Clausura 2018. They’ll now look for their first road win when they visit the Rayados, but the BBVA Bancomer is a hard place for visitors to pick up points. Tijuana will have the advantage of more rest, however, as they did not play in midweek. They also have one of the best defensive records of the young season with back-to-back clean sheets.
Pachuca vs Lobos BUAP – 8:06 PM – ESPN Deportes
Pachuca (12th) came from behind to draw 2-2 with América last weekend, which gave the Tuzos their first point of the season but leaves them still looking for their first win. They are winless in all competitions after a 0-1 loss to San Luis in the Copa MX in midweek. As for Lobos BUAP (18th), the licántropos fell 0-2 to Querétaro last weekend to give them back-to-back losses. Lobos can’t afford to keep dropping points, given their delicate positioning in the relegation standings, and they’ll look to take advantage of a Pachuca side that hasn’t been looking their best. They earned their first win in all competitions this week as they beat Pumas UNAM 2-0 in in the Copa MX, and they’ll look to build on that result here.
Necaxa vs Chivas de Guadalajara – 10:00 PM – Univision / Univision Deportes
Necaxa (13th) fell 1-0 to Tijuana last weekend to end their unbeaten start to the season.
