Disciplinary Report: Clausura 2018 Week 11

The Disciplinary Committee has suspended six players, upheld a red card appeal, and opened an investigation in the aftermath of this weekend’s Jornada 11 games.

The standout suspension goes to Nicolás Sánchez of Monterrey, who will miss the next two games due to serious foul play, while Paul Aguilar of América was given a one-game suspension for the same reason.

Alejandro Guido of Tijuana and Emanuel Loeschbor of Monarcas Morelia were both suspended one game for receiving two yellow cards in the same match, while Luis Advíncula of Lobos BUAP was given a one-game suspension for yellow card accumulation after receiving his fifth caution of the season.

Additionally, Anderson Santamaría of Puebla was suspended one game for denial of a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

Lobos BUAP filed a petition of non-conformity regarding the red card given to Pedro Aquino, and the Disciplinary Committee upheld the petition, meaning Aquino is cleared to play in the Licántropos’ next game.

Finally, the Disciplinary Committee has opened an investigation into Francisco Rodríguez, who was allegedly involved in an altercation with a fan during the March 10th game between Lobos and Chivas de Guadalajara.
