The semifinals are a total goals, aggregate score series; away goals are tiebreakers.
In the first legs, Toronto FC earned a 3-1 home victory against América, while Chivas de Guadalajara also won at home with a 1-0 result against the New York Red Bulls.
Chivas will reach the final with a win or a draw, as well as a one-goal loss so long as they score; a 1-0 loss would send the series to extra time, while a loss by two goals or more would see the Red Bulls advance.
As for América, a 2-0 win would put them in the final, but if Toronto scores they will need to win by three; a 3-1 win would send the series to extra time, while a draw or loss would see the Canadians advance.
All times Eastern, home team listed first.
