Disciplinary Report: Apertura 2018 Week 4

The Disciplinary Committee has suspendd four players and an assistant coach in the aftermath of this weekend’s Jornada 4 games.

Tigres UANL and Cruz Azul both filed petitions of non-conformity regarding the red cards given to Guido Pizarro and Pablo Aguilar, respectively, but both were denied. The two were given one-game suspensions, Pizarro for violent conduct and Aguilar for receiving two yellow cards in the same game.

John Stefan Medina of Monterrey will also miss the next match due to receiving two yellow cards in the same game, while Javier Aguino of Tigres was suspended one game for a lack of respect towards the match officials.

Finally, Cruz Azul’s assistant coach, Óscar Farias, was given a one-game suspension for constantly protesting the refree crew’s decisions.
