It’s a new year and a new season is just days away, but not everyone in Liga MX is starting the year with a clean slate. The Disciplinary Committee has published the list of players and coaching staff who have pending sanctions to serve at the start of the Clausura 2019, with seven players and one physical trainer set to be sidelined.
The following list shows the club with which the suspensions were received; if the players have changed teams, they will serve the suspension with their new club.
The seven players who will miss the start of the new season are: Gerardo Flores (Cruz Azul), Alan Mozo (Pumas UNAM), Rodrigo Salinas (Toluca), Emanuel Loeschbor (Monarcas Morelia), José Arturo Paganoni (Veracruz) and Rodrigo Noya (Veracruz), and Bryan Rabello (Lobos BUAP) all have one-game suspensions to serve.
The final pending sanction is for Óscar Miguel Faría, the Cruz Azul physical trainer, who will also miss one match.
