2019 CCL Round of 16 First Legs: Where to Watch

The 2019 CONCACAF Champions League gets underway this week with the first legs of the round of sixteen. Four Liga MX teams are involved in this tournament, with the winners and runners-up of the Apertura 2017 and Clausura 2018 seasons qualifying for the continental championship.

The Round of Sixteen consists of a home-and-away aggregate goals series; away goals are tiebreakers. If both aggregate score and away goals are equal at the end of the second leg, a penalty shootout will determine which team advances.

Tigres UANL will be the first Mexican team in action when they visit Deportivo Saprissa on Tuesday night; Santos Laguna and Monterrey are both in action on Wednesday, against Marathón and Alianza FC, respectively; and then Toluca wraps up the week with their visit to Sporting Kansas City on Thursday.

All times Eastern, home team listed first.
