Clausura 2019 Copa MX Final Set

The dust has settled on the semifinals and the Clausura 2019 Copa MX final brings a David-and-Goliath matchup: FC Juárez vs Club América.

FC Juárez, who knocked out Pumas UNAM with a 2-0 victory in the semifinals, has never before reached the Copa MX Gran Final, while América – who advanced with a 4-0 win against Tijuana – is tied for the most cup titles in the professional era, with five.

The Bravos are the first Ascenso MX team to make the final since Oaxaca in the Clausura 2014 tournament, and will look to be the first second-tier side to win it since Dorados de Sinaloa in the Apertura 2012 tournament.

The Águilas, meanwhile, will look to make history by breaking the tie with León for most professional era cup titles as they make their first appearance in the final since the 1990-91 season.

All times Eastern, home team listed first.
