Disciplinary Report: Clausura 2019 Week 16

The Disciplinary Committee has suspended eight players and two coaches in the aftermath of this weekend’s Jornada 16 games.

Tigres UANL coach Ricardo Ferretti and Puebla coach José Luis Sánchez Solá were both given one-game suspensions for insulting and/or showing a lack of respect towards players or members of the coaching staff after the pair were involved in an altercation.

On the playing side of things, Carlos Gutiérrez of Veracruz, José Javier Abella of Santos Laguna, and Andrés Andrade and Jorge Segura, both of Atlas, were all given one-game suspensions for serious foul play.

In addition, César Montes of Monterrey and Miguel Ángel Sansores of Monarcas Morelia were suspended after receiving two yellow cards in the same game.

Finally, Paul Aguilar of América and Brian Fernández of Necaxa were both given one-game suspensions for using offensive and/or insulting language and/or gestures.
