Liga MX in the 2019 Gold Cup

With the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup just days away, all 16 national teams have made their 23-player rosters official, and 21 Liga MX players have made the cut.

A total of 11 Liga MX teams will have players in this summer’s tournament, with Monterrey the most heavily-represented club with four.

Unsurprisingly, the vast majority of the Liga MX contingent – 15 players – will be suiting up for the Mexican national team, with the remaining six players representing Honduras, Costa Rica, and Canada.

Liga MX’s representatives are:

Mexico (15): Hugo González (Necaxa), Jonathan Orozco (Santos Laguna), Jesús Gallardo (Monterrey), César Montes (Monterrey), Fernando Navarro (León), Luis Rodríguez (Tigres UANL), Carlos Salcedo (Tigres UANL), Jorge Sánchez (América), Edson Álvarez (América), Luis Montes (León), Orbelín Pineda (Cruz Azul), Carlos Rodríguez (Monterrey), Rodolfo Pizarro (Monterrey), Alexis Vega (Chivas de Guadalajara), Roberto Alvarado (Cruz Azul)

Honduras (3): Brayan Beckeles (Necaxa), Félix Crisanto (Lobos BUAP), Michaell Chirinos (Lobos BUAP)
