Juan Reynoso Announced as Puebla Coach

Puebla has named Juan Reynoso as the club’s new head coach, following the departure of José Luis Sánchez Solá earlier this week.

The Peruvian coach has previous experience with Puebla from his time as assistant coach to Enrique Meza, and he is familiar with Liga MX in general as both a coach and a player.

Puebla highlighted his experience and familiarity with Mexican soccer in the press release announcing his hiring, saying “La Franja is in good hands for the goal of getting back on track and returning the team to the places our fans deserve and require.”

Reynoso will officially take the reins on Monday, which means interim coach Octavio Becerrill will oversee Puebla’s Jornada 6 game against Cruz Azul this weekend.
