San Luis vs Querétaro Suspended Due to Violence

The Jornada 14 game between Atlético San Luis and Querétaro was suspended in the 85th minute, with the visitors leading 0-2, due to violence in the stands of the Estadio Alfonso Lastras.

A massive fight broke out in the stands, with punches and objects being thrown, while others flooded on to the field as they tried to get out of the thick of it.

The game was stopped and ultimately abandoned.

Liga MX issued a press release condemning the violence and calling on both the state authorities of San Luis Potosí and Club Atlético San Luis to take all necessary action to apprehend and punish those responsible, and calling on the Disciplinary Committee to investigate and apply “all the corresponding sanctions”, which are likely to include a stadium ban.
