El Tri has gone three-for-three in the group stage and is already qualified for the semifinal round, while Bermuda is currently sitting in last place in the group table. They would move above Panama into second in the unlikely instance of earning a win or draw in Toluca; otherwise, they’ll remain in third.
The second-place finisher in each group will qualify for the next Gold Cup, while the third-place finishers will have to try to earn a spot there in another round of qualifying. In addition, the third-place finisher in each group will be relegated to League B for the next round of the Nations League tournament.
In the first meeting between Mexico and Bermuda, back in October, Mexico earned a 5-1 away win.
All times Eastern.
