Gabriel Hachen Given One Year Suspension

FC Juárez logoIn a January 4th preseason friendly between FC Juárez and UACH FC, Bravos midfielder Gabriel Hachen struck the referee.

The Liga MX Disciplinary Committee opened an investigation into the incident, and they announced the sanction today: a one-year suspension from all official soccer competitions endorsed by the Mexican Football Federation.

The 29-year-old Argentinian was also given an undisclosed fine.

Hacen joined FC Juárez in 2018, when the Bravos were still in Ascenso MX. He’s made 40 league appearances for the club between Ascenso MX and Liga MX, as well as six cup appearances. He scored 11 goals for Juárez in that span.
