Joaquín Martínez of Monarcas Morelia was given a one-game suspension for receiving two yellow cards in the same game, and Edwin Cardona of Pachuca was suspended one game for violent conduct.
Santos Laguna filed a petition of non-conformity regarding the red card given to Matheus Doria, but the Disciplinary Committee overturned the petition and gave Doria a one-game suspension for serious foul play.
Santos is the only perfect team remaining, while Querétaro and América are also unbeaten; on the other hand, Puebla, Pachuca, Toluca, and Veracruz are all still winless.
Veracruz also remained in last place in the Tabla de Cociente with their loss, while relegation rivals FC Juárez and Atlético San Luis also lost and Querétaro and Chivas de Guadalajara won.

Despite going down to 10 men, Santos picked up an emphatic 4-1 victory against Puebla. The result makes it four straight wins for the Laguneros, while the Poblanos are still searching for their first victory.
Santos came out attacking and they had an early opportunity through Adrián Lozano, whose shot hit the crossbar. It was only a matter of time before the hosts found the breakthrough, and it came in the 15th minute. From a corner kick, Ulíses Rivera headed the ball home at the far post to put Santos ahead, 1-0.
América remained unbeaten this season with a 0-1 away win against Toluca. The result is a second straight win for the Águilas, while the Diablos Rojos have lost two in a row and remain winless in the Apertura.
Toluca was looking to get their season on track in front of their home fans, and they created a few goal-scoring opportunities. Felipe Pardo was the most dangerous player for the hosts, but Óscar Jiménez made the necessary saves to keep the Diablos off the board.
Chivas de Guadalajara looked confident in this 3-0 victory against Atlético San Luis. The result keeps El Rebaño unbeaten in three – and perfect at home – while the Potosinos have yet to record a point on the road.
