“Since I was a child, I did not like cabbage soup in the classic version, so I decided to make my own version. In Uhvat we make pork rib soup, cook it for 12 hours, serve it without peeled tomatoes, sour cream, fresh dill. ”

Ingredients for 5 servings

– baby potatoes – 150 g
– sauerkraut – 250 g
– White onion – 150 g
– Carrots – 150 g
– Bulgarian pepper – 150 g
– Pink tomatoes – 150 g
– Smoked pork ribs – 350 g
– Dill – 10 g
– Green onion – 20 g
– Coriander – a pinch
– Sour cream – 250 g

how to prepare

01:

Add a pinch of sugar to the sauerkraut, season it and put it in the oven for 4 hours at a temperature of 100-120 degrees.

02:

Pour one liter of water into the pot, put the pork ribs and put it on the fire. While the broth is cooking, fry the onion, carrot and bell pepper in a frying pan. Combine the brown vegetables with the liquid stewed in the oven և sauerkraut. Then add the potatoes and cook for another 20-30 minutes.

03:

The finished soup should be infused for 12 hours at room temperature. The pan can be wrapped in a towel. When serving, add finely chopped peeled tomatoes, ribs, green onion, sour cream with dill. Ready.
