The soup has an unusual ingredient – dried algae, but they only benefit the dish, have a positive effect on its taste.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g (dry) red lentils
  • 50 g (dry) rice
  • 1.2 – 1.5 liters of water
  • dried seaweed (seaweed) – a pinch
  • juice of 1/4 lemon
  • spices to taste

What do we do?

1. Wash the lentils and rice, fill them with clean water, bring to a boil, carefully remove the foam before boiling. If you have brown rice, cook it a little early, then add the lentils.

2. At the same time, fill the dry algae with plenty of water. In 15 minutes they will greatly increase in volume, and if you get large plates, cut them into small pieces.

3. While the rice and lentils are cooking, add algae, lemon juice and spices to the soup.

4. Before serving, you can add finely chopped walnuts or olives, healthy fats will not harm anyone.

These ingredients make up three large doses. One portion of soup will have about 15-20 grams of protein. And this is already one third of the daily norm.
