They took the lead in the 18th minute, when Adrián Aldrete scored a golazo from outside the box as he recovered a loose ball in midfield, took it downfield, and then sent his shot from distance into the upper corner to make it 1-0.
After a 40-minute delay in the second half due to heavy rain and poor field conditions, Lobos BUAP earned a 0-1 away win against León. The result snaps a five-game losing streak and seven-game winless streak for the Licántropos, while La Fiera saw their own losing streak grow to three games.
The hosts started the game off better, but Lobos’ defense limited their chances. The first one of note came in the 22nd minute through Luis Montes, but his shot from outside the box ended up just off target.
