Disciplinary Report: Apertura 2019 Week 6

The Disciplinary Committee has suspended one player, one physical trainer, and fined a club in the aftermath of this weekend’s Jornada 6 games.

Camilo Sanvezzo of Tijuana was given a one-game suspension for serious foul play, while the Xolos’ trainer Fabián Alejandro Bazán was suspended one game for entering the field of play to confront a member of the referee crew.

Querétaro was fined after a fan struck León player Jorge Díaz during a goal celebration in La Corregidora; the club was also given an official warning regarding a stadium ban. The “Aviso de Veto” means that another incident will result in an automatic one-game ban of La Corregidora, which would force them to either play in another stadium or to play behind closed doors, with no fans admitted.
